Audi Q5 appeared on the market in the autumn of 2008. Initially, the engine line included one gasoline and two diesel models. The 2.0 liter petrol engine with direct fuel injection and turbocharging develops 211 hp. and a torque of 350 Nm. In the segment of diesel engines, a 2-liter TDI with 170 hp, developing a torque of 350 Nm, and a 3-liter six-cylinder model with a power of 240 hp, giving a torque of 500 Nm, are offered. In July 2009, the engine line was supplemented by two new models – 2.0 TDI 143 hp and 2.0 TFSI 180 hp.
In Audi Q5, a new development of engineers Audi – a 7-step robotic gearbox S tronic, designed to transmit torque to 500 N · m. The constant all-wheel drive quattro (differential Torsen) transmits torque to all four wheels in a ratio of 40:60 (front axle / rear axle).
